Ban lan gen, or Isatis root, has long been used in Chinese households at the onset of cold symptoms such as fever, sore throat, inflammation, dry cough, swollen tonsils, chills, headaches and other flu-like symptoms.

华天宝牌板蓝根冲剂

主治功能：本品清热解毒，凉血利咽。用于肺胃热盛所致的咽喉肿痛、口咽干燥；急性扁桃体炎见上述证候者。

成　　份：板蓝根。辅料为糊精、蔗糖。

用法用量：开水冲服。一次3～6克(无蔗糖)，一日3～4次。
